In the last few weeks we’ve told you all about our official brand consolidation - to become one, The Verve Group, to the outside world; introduced you to Dextera, our tech masterpiece and the final piece of our consolidation jigsaw; and last week ran you through the logistics of what you can expect from the shiny new system and how we’ll migrate your data into it.
Now with just two weeks to go until we go live with Dex - our new technology and your soon-to-be new best friend - this week we wanted to get into the detail of the new price structure, to reflect the new business and proposition. So, let’s get straight to it…
From 3rd July, you’ll pay…
A minimum monthly payment of £75 + VAT - this is a Verve membership fee and a Dextera subscription licence all in one. This replaces the current retainer model in Para-Sols, or the offer for Apricity Lite clients. If you are a client of both, you’ll now benefit from a cost-saving of using just one system.
If you are an Apricity Managed client, you’ll continue to pay your normal monthly service charge to reflect the ongoing compliance support we currently provide you with in addition to your Dextera license(s).
If you are a T&C client, you'll continue to pay your normal monthly fees for your ongoing T&C support, in addition.
Individual paraplanning cases and file checks will continue to be charged for separately, just as they are now (we’ve linked a price list below to make it super easy to refresh yourself).
As noted, this replaces the current membership fees and also system access - so consider it a Verve membership and Dextera subscription all in one, giving each firm:
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
• Priority access to all of our webinars and CPD events.
• Discounted MASTER training workshops.
• Enhanced rates through our protection panel.
LICENCE BENEFITS
• Full regulatory framework.
• Full resource hub, with hundreds of documents, guides, checklists and templates.
• Interactive and integrated policies and registers
• Live bulletins, news and industry insight.
• Personal agenda, showing all tasks related to framework, training and projects.
• Individual CPD tool and annual testing.
Additional users.
To access Dextera, you need at least one full licence user, who gets all the benefits above.
For additional users you have two options:
Add them in as a free user. These are, unsurprisingly, free! It means they can go into the system to submit, view and manage cases (including paraplanning and file checks) as well as submitting queries. However, they are not able to access the more advanced features, such as annual testing and CPD management. In order to access that you need to add them as...
A paid user. These have full system access. There’s a number of options regarding their permission levels (whether they are a system lead, or a team supervisor for example) but these don’t impact the fees.
So, what exactly are the fees?
We believe that firms will get the most value from Dex if they have their whole team in there; it provides the full business operation dashboard we are working on creating. For this reason, we have moved away from per user pricing (as seen in Apricity) and instead have bandings.
1 USER £75 + VAT
2-5 USERS £125 + VAT
6-10 USERS £175 + VAT
11-20 USERS £225 + VAT
21+ USERS Bespoke Pricing
Those of you who are great with maths will see the average fee per user decreases, the more users there are. For example, 20 users (for a total of £225 + VAT) are paying just £11.25 per user, per month for all of the benefits above. We’d say that’s quite the steal!
What happens if I’m not happy with the new system?
Firstly, we’re confident you will be - there’s so many features to love. We’ve designed an intuitive system much like a business operations dashboard which quite frankly will fast become your right hand (hence the namesake, Dextera - it’s Latin for ‘to give one’s right hand to’). Secondly, every firm will be entitled to a 7-day free trial from 3rd July before any billing commences, so you have time to familiarise yourself with the system and let us know how you’re finding it.
What happens to my billing?
We’ll invoice you at the end of every month for the work we’ve done for you that month. There’s an area in the system that clearly shows all itemised billing - your membership and Dex licenses, as well as any cases or ongoing support we’re providing you with at the time. The final amount will continue to be debited out of your account around the 15th of the following month.
If you haven't already, be sure to register for one of our remaining demo sessions so you and your team can have a good look round the new tech, explore the additional features and ask any burning questions.
Although this is a slight departure from the current charging structure, for many firms it results in lower costs (by combining the two separate systems) and hopefully you agree that the small monthly licence fee represents exceptional value for money!
That's it from us again this week but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop a member of the team a line at hello@weareverve.co.uk or call us on 01325 952116 (psst, update your address book with this, it'll be the new central line number soon!).
