First things first - this is a job for us, not you! (phew). We will register your firm in Dex - with all the information we already know about it from the existing Apricity system (such as name, postal information, invoicing details etc). We will also add the ‘Lead User’ which is logged in the Firm Profile area of the current system. If you don’t know who your contact is, or would like to change it, now is a great time to do that (before Friday 23rd June).
In addition to the Lead User, we’ll also create the profiles for all active users in your Apricity and Rise systems. As much as possible, we'll cross check to ensure they are only current users in the firm. However, if there are any users to be added or removed the system Lead(s) can easily do that themselves once the account has been activated.
Additionally, over that weekend we will migrate any live paraplanning cases and file checks that are in the systems at the time of us closing them down. Any live cases/projects can be accessed by the active users via Dex on Monday 3rd July.
The Lead User will be responsible for activating your firm account. This will be an important but straight forward process which will involve logging into the system and ticking to agree to our new Terms of Business - they will reflect the change in company name and the use of Dextera. Once this has been agreed, the company profile (and subsequent user accounts) will be activated and available to use as normal, but this time, your paraplanning and file checking cases can be found all in one place.
For Managed clients, the migration of your full firm framework - including dates and documents and individual's CPD log and testing dates - will be done after a consultation with you at your next quarterly check-in. Fear not, we will do all the heavy lifting and make sure your Dex account is populated as it should be, we simply want to use this as a cleansing exercise to ensure only relevant and up to date information comes across and ultimately make it much more clearer for you in the process.
Although the Apricity system and Rise will no longer be accessible, we will have all your data archived. And so, if you need to discuss any previous projects, you can email compliance@weareverve.co.uk or paraplanning@weareverve.co.uk respectively and we’ll resolve it from there.
