It’s been a week since we told you our new technology - Dextera (to use its Sunday name. It’s Dex to you and us) - is coming in just a matter of weeks to replace the Apricity software. Many of you wasted no time in getting signed up for our demo sessionswhich kick-off next week so it’s safe to say your excitement matches ours.
As with any new tech, there may be some trepidation on what that new system will be like, how you and the team will use it and what features will add the most value. So this week, we come armed with some important details to ensure you know exactly what to expect from the new system and specifically - the what, the when and the how.
New technology means you can expect all the same great features you already know and love about our Apricity system - just better, more intuitive and with lots of additional features to make your life easier.
Improved regulatory framework - to allow you to manage all your business and compliance reporting.
Interactive and integrated policies and registers – to allow you to bin the spreadsheets!
Live bulletins, keeping you up to date with all things finance and compliance.
Personal agenda, showing all tasks related to framework, training and projects.
Full resource hub, with hundreds of updated and refreshed documents, guides, checklists and templates.
Enhanced CPD tracking tool and annual testing for each licence user, with oversight function for supervisors.
Dex is technology first - but, at Verve we're not only about the tech. With your access, you can now quickly and easily activate any support services you would like from us (including paraplanning, proposition, compliance and training & competency) at the touch of a button.
It's quick and easy to submit one-off paraplanning cases, with industry leading 5 day turnaround.
Continued ability to submit file checks, either standalone, or post-paraplanning* and receive them back in industry leading turnaround time (3 days pre-sale, 5 days post-sale).
Ability to submit technical queries to our team of experts*
* additional charges per case/query may apply.
Dextera will be live for access on Monday 3rd July, from 8am and our existing systems will shut down on Friday 30th June, from 4pm. This means that you’ll be unable to use the system in any way over that weekend.
The important bit to know is that there will be no disruption to our usual timescales for cases, so please just continue to use the system as you normally would up to the point of it closing down.
First things first - this is a job for us, not you! (phew). We will register your firm in Dex - with all the information we already know about it from the exisiting Apricity system (such as name, postal information, invoicing details etc). We will also add the ‘Lead User’ which is logged in the Firm Profile area of the current system. If you don’t know who your contact is, or would like to change it, now is a great time to do that (before Friday 23rd June).
In addition to the Lead User, we’ll also create the profiles for all active users on your account as well as migrate any live file checks that are in the system at the time of us closing it down. Those live cases can be accessed by the active users via Dex on Monday 3rd July, once activated.
The Lead User will be responsible for activating your firm account. This will be an important but straight forward process which will involve logging into the system and ticking to agree to our new Terms of Business. Once this has been agreed, the company profile (and subsquent user accounts) will be activated and available to use as an Apricity Lite client on a 7-day free trial.
You can use the firm framework, documents, dates etc. yourself. And, with your core licence, you can add paraplanning and file check projects. If you would like any additional support, such as compliance wraparound to get everything up to date, or T&C support for your team, you can activate these within the system or book in a call to chat through your needs. All in one place!
Although the Apricity system will no longer be accessible, we will have all your data archived. And so, if you need to discuss anything previous checks, logs or queries, you can email compliance@weareverve.co.uk and we’ll resolve it from there.
If you haven't already, be sure to register for one of our demo sessions so you and your team can have a good look round the new technology, explore the additional features and also have the chance to ask any questions.
We’ve created a webpage dedicated to news, developments and all the important information you need to know to support you in the transition to Dex. Please bookmarkthis webpage and make sure you and your colleagues have marked hello@weareverve.co.ukas a safe sender so you continue to receive our updates.
That's it from us again this week but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop a member of the team a line or call us on 01325 952116 (psst, update your address book with this, it'll be the new central line number soon!).
